Helping families tell their story through design
I grew up on tradition and family. Those things matter to me and my family and I know they matter to my clients.

The CardinalStory
To tell you the truth, Cardinal started well before I was ever born. The two people in the photo were my great grandparents. My great grandmother’s name was Gloria Dean, and she was the definition of a southern hostess.
Her home was always filled with warmth, good memories and the best cooking that you’ve ever put in your mouth. Because her home was such a light to me in my childhood, her beautiful traditional decorating style became mine.
Even though we never talked much about interiors or design, her stunning taste and ability to create a space that feels like “home” has stuck with me and influenced me throughout my career. It’s these feelings, stories and memories that fuel me into helping other families tell their stories through interior design.
Every family is different, but we each have our own stories to tell.

From my clients
Kind Words
I would highly recommend Kayla. Her interior design work is amazing, from the design ideas to seeing it through with you to the very end. She has assisted our family from living room, master bedroom to a complete playroom makeover. Also, I had never had assistance with Christmas decorations until this year and I was in complete awe when she finished. I trust her to provide quality work and tries to match your style and budget.Rebekah H.
Kayla is so talented! With a gift for the details that make her clients have a one of a kind completed project they love! She listens carefully to her clients likes and dislikes, respects budgets, gives her ideas and options to consider in a timely manner. I look forward to our next project!Tracy D.
